Daft Punk are ruling the charts. The French pioneers of electronic music returned this year with the hit single ‘Get Lucky’ and their signature robot sounds. To get close to this unique sound, we got ourselves one of Daft Punk’s favorite toys — the talkbox.

Oli’s using a Rocktron Banshee 2, which is controlled via MIDI directly in Pro Tools, modulated with his voice and recorded into an external microphone.

    That is hot Oli, I have wonderd if I was the only one with a midi controller in the mix. for the record using Adobe Audition 3 from time to time Sonar with a Akai MPK 49 still learnig, but now the Rocktron Banshee 2 looks good to put in the mix as well.
